Creating A Profile
Photo’s are taken of a client’s business or home, with which an attractive profile presentation is created. No pictures of the agent just a presentation of the features that will attract prospective buyers with copy that present the advantages of the opportunity. The profiles are prepared by a marketing and advertising professional.
Advertising
Advertising is implemented immediately after the listing is accepted and the profile sheet developed. Dependent upon the situation, various forms of
advertising are utilized. Our best results have been achieved through 6 internet listing resources. When appropriate, Havelock-Adams utilizes local newspapers, direct mail and direct solicitation methods of marketing.
Pre-qualifying The Buyer
It is an important task for any broker to screen potential buyers in such a manner that only reasonably qualified prospective buyers are presented. In business deals we take special precautions in attempting to correctly “match” a potential buyer with the seller so that we can be as confident as possible that the success of the business continues after the sale.
Showing Your Business
We do not instantly show your business to any prospect. As mentioned, we prescreen any potential buyer and frequently we are working behind the scenes meeting them on several occasions prior to a showing so that we can be sure they are qualified and ready to move forward. It would not be in a client’s best interest for us to show a business to everyone just because they inquired. |
